They say everyone is a little bit Irish in March, but we just feel lucky to finally head back to the Muck! After a brief postponement we are ready to celebrate the "luck of the draw" this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. No pot of gold required—just your favorite sketchbook!
Let's Sketch at the Muck!

Location: Muckenthaler Cultural Center, 1201 W. Malvern Ave, Fullerton, CA 92833
Schedule
10:00 AM: MEET at the main entrance to the Muckenthaler.
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: SKETCH throughout the Sculpture Garden and Sunset Garden.
12:30 PM: RECONVENE to share our work, make introductions, and take our group photo. (Location to be determined on-site).
1:00 PM: END
Admission
Free for the outdoor grounds and gardens. (Note: The indoor gallery requires a fee and may have holiday hours; check themuck.org for updates).

About the Location
Built in 1924 as a grand 18-room estate for Walter and Adella Muckenthaler, this Fullerton gem is the epitome of vintage California charm. Its terracotta tiles, lush greenery, and intricate details make it a perennial favorite for artists.
What to Bring
All skill levels are welcome whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting to explore your creativity. Bring your favorite sketching media, an easel if desired and maybe a folding chair or stool if you need to sit. If you’re new to sketching, your equipment can be as simple as a pencil and a sketchbook!
