In this practical session, Jacqui will share her expertise and show you how to turn your food scraps and garden waste into a valuable resource for your garden. Drawing on her experience with Permaculture Systems, as well as her farm's extensive composting system, she'll demonstrate how you can create your own nutrient-rich soil right at home, and benefit the planet at the same time!
This free workshop is an opportunity to learn from an expert and equip yourself with the knowledge to reduce waste and enrich your soil.
This workshop will take each participant through the following:
🪱 An introduction to composting and worm farming
🪱 The essential elements of composting and the ideal conditions for a thriving worm farm
🪱 Different composting methods and what's best for your unique situation
🪱 Troubleshooting, including practical tips for solving common composting & worm farm problems
🪱 Meeting the critters that make composting possible
🪱 Hands-on & practical demonstrations
🪱 Concluding with a Q&A with Jacqui to answer all your wriggly questions
We will also be giving away a composting kit lucky door prize, so that one lucky participant can put their newfound knowledge to work straight away!
