As part of the 20th Annual Frostburg State University Appalachian Festival, Savage Mountain Punk Arts is shining a spotlight on the independent record labels shaping Appalachian sound and spirit.
🎶 On Friday, September 19 join us at The Deep End for an all-ages live showcase featuring artists signed to regional indie labels. Expect raw energy, DIY grit, and the underground sounds keeping Appalachia loud.
🎤 On Saturday, September 20, catch a full panel discussion at the Appalachian Festival, where label founders will share their stories, struggles, and successes running DIY record labels in the mountains. Learn what it takes to press records, support bands, and build community one release at a time.
