Scottish Cèilidh Fundraiser

Samuels Library invites the community to put on their dancing shoes and reel and jig the night away at its Scottish Cèilidh Fundraiser on Friday, March 6th at 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

This lively evening of traditional Scottish music, dancing, and community spirit will feature award-winning musician Seán Heely, a celebrated fiddler, singer, harpist and composer. Heely is both the U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and U.S. National Champion in Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) Song, bringing world-class talent and energy to the event.

With infectious fiddle tunes and toe-tapping rhythms, guests will enjoy classic Scottish music led by the Seán Heely Celtic Band and a professional dance caller. No prior dance experience needed, just a willingness to jump in and have fun. Food and beverages will be served (included in the ticket price).

The Cèilidh Fundraiser is proudly sponsored by Mountain Home Bed & Breakfast and Friends of Samuels Library (FOSL). All proceeds from this event will help fill the gap for the Library’s emergency funding needs.
