Let 2026 be the year you learn to quilt! Our beginner quilting class is designed for individuals who are new to quilting, as well as those looking to refresh and enhance their existing skills. The class offers step-by-step guidance to help participants become comfortable with the basics of quilting. We will meet once a month for 8 sessions increasing our skills as we go along.
You Will Learn:
-How to choose fabrics that complement your quilt design
-Techniques for accurately cutting and piecing together fabric
-Quilting designs to enhance the quilt blocks
-Methods for binding a quilt to complete your project
Our classes provide a structured approach for learning, emphasizing practical skills and hands-on techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to work on a variety of quilt blocks, ranging from simple to more advanced designs for beginning quilters. Throughout the class, you will build confidence and develop valuable quilting skills while learning with others in a supportive environment.
We will meet once per month (the last Saturday) for 8 months, creating a block or two each session and learning the Quilt as You Go technique as well as how to prepare a quilt top for a longarm quilter.

Registering here pays for the first session that meets on March 28th. Each session's fee will be due prior to the class. By registering here you are obligating to partipate for the 8 session series.
