Join us as we Kick Off the Holidays in Style at the 23rd Annual Deck the Halls, hosted by the Blue Ridge Arts Council!
Before the gallery glows with wreaths, trees, and centerpieces crafted in celebration of creativity and tradition, we’re inviting YOU—our neighbors, artists, and holiday enthusiasts—to help design the magic.
This year, Teresa Henry, our master designer, is offering three hands-on workshops to bring the spirit of the season to life. Whether you're a seasoned decorator or simply love the joy of the holidays, your ideas and hands are welcome. All decorated items created during the workshops will be kept by the Blue Ridge Arts Council and sold at our 23rd Annual Deck the Halls event.
What to Bring: Yourself, your creativity, and any decorations you'd love to donate. Wreaths, Trees and Decor Kits will be provided!
We welcome decoration donations with open arms! To help us present a beautiful and cohesive display, we ask that all donated items be in new or like-new condition. Whether it’s ribbon, ornaments, floral picks, or festive accents—your contributions help make the magic happen.
Who Can Join: This workshop is open to ages 12 and up. Please note: we’ll be working with hot glue guns, wire, and other crafting tools, so a bit of care and supervision is encouraged.

About Your Contributions: This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and proceeds from wreath and tree sales directly support BRAC’s ongoing arts programming.
About Teresa Henry: Teresa Henry has been a beloved part of Deck the Halls for over 15 years, bringing her signature style and heartfelt creativity to each season. Her designs—ranging from timeless elegance to whimsical charm—have become a highlight of the event, with many in our community returning year after year just to see what she’ll dream up next.
This year, Teresa will be on hand to guide participants through the decorating process, offering expert tips, bow-making secrets, and plenty of encouragement. Whether you're crafting your first wreath or designing a themed tree, Teresa’s warm leadership and artistic eye will help bring your vision to life.
