You are warmly invited to join Mel and Neil from the Frome Grief Network at our next meet-up. This is primarily for people who work with grief, loss, death and dying in any capacity. However, members of the public who want to be involved are welcome to join. Please note this is not a grief support group.
Frome Grief Network Meet-up

Location: The Good Heart Cafe, 7 Palmer Street, Frome, BA11 1DS
What to expect:
The evening will be hosted by Melanie Dalton and Neil Croom. It is free and hot drinks will be provided. The evening will begin with introductions, and everyone will have an opportunity to informally share information about any work/ projects related to grief, loss, death and dying they are currently engaged with.
We will then have a chance to speak about some opportunities for us to potentially engage with as a group.
These include:
- The Good Grief Trust's 'National Grief Awareness Week' (2nd- 8th December)- Is there something small we can do?
- A Frome Grief Network event on Saturday 14th March 2026, 10-1pm (Frome Kindness Festival)
- Exploring the idea of curating a series of 3 public events/ workshops focused around the topics of 'before, during and after' death.
- A BBC Radio Somerset show focused around grief (being broadcast from Frome), on Friday 13th February.
- Sharing ideas about what a more 'grief aware' Frome might look like

PARKING
The nearest car park is on Cork Street, behind the Westway Centre, which is a 5 minute walk from The Good Heart. If this car park is full, the Cattle Market (Cheese and Grain) car park has more spaces and is an 8-10 minute walk from The Good Heart. Both car parks are free after 6pm.
