🌕 Full Moon Hiking Tour Rainbow Lake: Exploring Nature’s Queerness with FDRD
Are you ready to witness the majesty of nature under the silvery glow of the full moon?
Join us for a very special event as FDRD’s Em Lind and Mountain Pride guide a leisurely-paced 2-hour interpretive hike celebrating life in all its diversity! We’ll be exploring “The Queerness of Nature,” highlighting non-heteronormative behaviors in wildlife and celebrating the many beautiful ways life thrives. This hike is open to everyone!
Who is FDRD? FDRD stands for Friends of the Dillon Ranger District. They are a local nonprofit dedicated to the stewardship and preservation of the White River National Forest in Summit County through volunteer programs, education, and community partnerships.
Before we start trekking, we’ll have hot drinks on hand to fill up your reusable mug or thermos and keep you warm.
