Protectors of the Salish Sea & co-hosts invite you to - Walk to protect and restore the Salish Sea, no oil tankers through our islands. we come together in Netsemot (One Heart, one mind one prayer and one house. For the Safety and well-being of all sacred beings living in our Schene (Salish Sea.
Our First Peoples have lived on our Sacred Relatives of the deep (Islands) since the beginning of time. All of the beings that dwell in the waters have been loved and cared for with our sacred promise to hold sacred relationships with, these being respond in kind offering their bodies and spirits, upholding their original sacred promises to us and our Creator.
Join us as we come together in song, dance, voice, action and prayer to uphold our sacred promise to protect the circle of life and the water.
We walk for 4 days in prayer for the Salmon people, the killer whale people, the water and all future generations.
We walk in prayer to make sure that the 500% increase in Oil Tanker traffic never happens through our First Peoples Sacred Islands.

When: September 27, 28, 29 and 30
Where: Stolcwethl (So called San Juan Island)
Food, good water and a place to camp will be provided
Please bring your good spirits and all of your camping gear
People will park at the Anacortes Ferry private parking areas and walk on the ferry. We will have shuttles picking people up at Stolcwethl (So called Friday Harbor).
Participants are welcome to arrive Friday evening and camp
