Our dear friends at Rolling Sushi wanted to do a special sushi pop up to benefit Melissa’s journey with Breast Cancer.
We have decided to team up and make it a special morning/afternoon.
1st Annual Paddle for Life
Supporting and honoring with every stroke on our sacred water, those affected by breast cancer, past and present.
We invite breast cancer survivors, patients, families, anyone in community moved to attend an intimate gathering.
If anyone wants to donate for paddle rides in our canoes (not necessary) we ask you make them to San Juan Island Cancer Foundation/Team Heeb!
Where: Jackson’s Beach (gravel pit side by canoes)
Time: Ceremony/Prayer Circle at 9am
Circle open to Guest Speakers if anyone moved to share their experience
Followed by intentional paddle on Griffin Bay. If you have your own paddle craft, please bring! (SUP, surfboard, kayak, etc )
We will have a few of our program voyaging canoes to take folks out or rotate…
Bring flower lei/petals if moved to spread on water.
Post Paddle Celebration at Surina Business Park at approx 12:30/1:00pm

Join us at Surina and listen to the beautiful Hawai’ian sounds of Christopher Maguire on lap steel guitar!
