Designed for artists looking to expand their technical skills, this demo focuses on electro etching, a non toxic alternative to traditional acid processes that reduces hazardous fumes while offering precise control over line and tone. Participants will learn how to prepare copper plates, use the electro-etching tank, and develop tonal imagery through aquatint techniques, all within a safer and more environmentally conscious studio framework.
This demo is taught by visiting artist-in-residence Zoe Nielsen. Zoe joins us for the month of May. You can learn more about her here!
