SEPTEMBER Hike at Stevenson Falls -Fresno Melanin Vibe Tribe Soft Launch

This isn’t just a hike, it’s the soft launch of the Fresno Melanin Vibe Tribe (FMVT), a movement rooted in Faith, Fitness, and Fellowship. Together, we’ll step away from the noise of life and step into God’s creation for a morning of connection, clarity, and renewal.

Our tribe will caravan to Stevenson Falls for a guided outdoor experience that blends physical challenge with spiritual encouragement. Along the way, we’ll pause at the iconic cave/tunnel for a short circle of scripture and reflection, then continue to the waterfall for photos, rest, and fellowship.

No matter your fitness level, you won’t walk alone. We hike together, take breaks, laugh, and grow side by side. This is about more than miles. it’s about building authentic connections, recharging your spirit, and leaving with renewed focus for the season ahead.

🗓️ Schedule

✅6:15 AM – Meet at Starbucks (2088 E Copper Ave, Fresno)

Arrive early if you’d like to coordinate carpooling with fellow FMVT members before we caravan to the trailhead.

✅6:45 AM – Caravan departs for Stevenson Falls Trailhead (\~1 hr+ drive)

✅8:00 AM – Opening prayer & group warm-up at the trailhead ✨Start the day centered in God’s presence and prepare your body for the hike ahead.

✅8:15 AM – Guided group hike begins

✅9:30 AM – Tribe Circle at the Cave/Tunnel (1.5 miles in • 15 min scripture + reflection)

✅9:45 AM – Continue hike toward Stevenson Falls

✅10:30 AM – Waterfall stop (3.5 miles in): photo op 📸 / lunch 🥗 / rest 🌊

✅11:15 AM – Begin hike back to trailhead (3.5 miles • \~1 hr 45 min with breaks)

✅1:00 PM – Arrive back at trailhead, caravan return

✅2:00 PM – Arrive back in Fresno

Total Distance: \~7 miles round-trip (moderate level, paved trail with 780 ft elevation gain)
