Discover the creative legacy of celebrated Fremantle artist Theo Koning in a landmark retrospective at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre. Spanning five decades this expansive exhibition brings together over 200 works - sculpture painting poetry performance and more - showcasing Koning’s instinctive approach to art and his knack for finding beauty in the overlooked and discarded.

Curated by André Lipscombe the show features pieces borrowed from major collections and private lenders across Australia alongside playful highlights from Koning’s career including his garden projects and humorous Instagram creations. Coinciding with the exhibition is the launch of a limited-edition illustrated monograph.
