What you can expect in our time together.
You will be warmly welcomed into a space of calm and serenity where your whole being will feel nurtured from head to toe from the inside out.
Our afternoon will take you on an awareness journey from chaos to calm, bringing with this journey an insight that will have you wanting to journal the shifts you feel deep within.
A welcome circle will begin our afternoon together.
You will then experience a process that highlights the importance of breath awareness and its benefits to our overall wellbeing.
Yin Yoga will lead us into awareness of breath and body followed by a deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) that will enable you to effortlessly fall into a state of restorative rest, where your senses will be heightened and your subconscious mind will be open to positive suggestions, leaving you with a deep connection to self. As you emerge from this process you will feel calm, refreshed and restored.
As we allow the body and mind to awaken slowly, we will once again journal our insights and findings.
As we close out our day we will come together and enjoy a ceremonial cacao, and some yummy treats. There will be opportunity to share any insights or shifts you experience throughout your afternoons experience.

Just in case you wanted to know a little bit about me :)
Over the last 20 years, I have opened my mind and heart to the possibility that everything that has happened in my life has had a purpose!
As a child, I experienced trauma, both emotional and physical. These events would shape my beliefs about myself and how I perceived the world around me. Over time, they impacted the choices I would make in my adult life. These beliefs and behaviours proved to be unresourceful, leaving me with ill health.
In my late 30s, I had a life altering health scare, which resulted in a newfound awareness that triggered my journey towards recovery both physically and mentally. I changed my thinking and began building a life that demonstrated my newfound worth and thoughts towards the life I wanted and ultimately deserved. Over time, this changed my beliefs, my habits, and my behaviours.
I can wholeheartedly say I have learnt to embrace and feel gratitude for all the events that challenged me, as they have shaped who I am today.
Today, my life is so different, my outlook is different, my mindset is different, and the results are different. I still have challenges, but I’ve discovered it’s how I react to the challenge and what I do with my life that matters. I embrace life, I’m grateful for life, I am beyond blessed with a beautiful family, and I experience joy through the gift of amazing friends. Everything I experience in my life has a purpose. I find myself feeling excited about life and not worried about life.
The last 20 years have drawn me to complete a list of teachings and trainings that have led me to fully embrace my purpose. As a result, I have authentically been guided on a path where my life experience and knowledge allow me to give back to those in need of a new way of thinking. Empowering them to live a life they deserve.
Empowered Thinking has been growing and taking shape over the last 8 years, and I’m so thankful for the positive impact that I see in others when they experience the benefits of the yoga modality I have established over time. This yoga modality, I have named "YiNidra", is essentially a simple and effortless way to reduce stress and induce positive change by direct access to the subconscious mind, embedding empowered intentions. This is a practice offering the deepest possible states of relaxation, leaving you feeling rested and revived both physically and mentally.
