Camera Basics – Get Off Auto Mode! (Fremantle Edition)
Take control of your camera and start shooting with confidence in this 2-hour hands-on workshop.
Perfect for beginners or anyone who feels stuck on “auto” mode, this session gives you the essential foundations to capture photos you’re truly proud of.
We’ll meet at the Fremantle Markets before taking a relaxed photo walk past the Tourist Wheel, up to the historic Round House, and finishing at Bathers Beach — a mix of street scenes, textures, heritage buildings, open shade and coastal light.
You’ll learn new skills and practise them in real time as we explore.
By the end, you’ll walk away understanding your camera, controlling your settings confidently, and shooting creatively instead of relying on auto mode.
