The magic of the season is coming to life—join us for our annual Mistletoe Walk and experience the joy, charm, and sparkle of the holidays like never before.
Santa’s Station at Karcher Pocket Park (17 W. Stephenson St.) is the perfect stop for families from 2–4 PM. Kids can write their Christmas lists, color festive holiday pages, and meet Santa himself for a photo and a chat on his lap.
Hot cocoa will be flowing all day at participating downtown stores—perfect for warming up while you explore.
Live musical entertainment will fill the streets with holiday cheer, and yes—horse-drawn carriage rides are back! Take a magical ride through downtown with stops at:
The Exchange (223 W. Chicago Ave.)
Re/Max Property Source (2 W. Stephenson St.)
Hungry or thirsty? Our restaurants and bars are ready to serve up seasonal flavors and festive drinks. And don’t forget the shopping—our downtown shops are packed with holiday treasures. You might just finish your gift list in one afternoon.
And don’t miss the grand finale—our Community Tree Lighting at 5 PM at the Stephenson County Courthouse. Gather with friends and neighbors as we light up the night and officially welcome the holiday season.
Whether you’re here for the cocoa, the carriage rides, the music, or the magic—Mistletoe Walk is the holiday event you won’t want to miss.
Be sure to stop in to Rootz & Branchez for store wide sales, tarot readings, snacks, and hot drinks!
