Take a nourishing pause from everyday life and immerse yourself in a day of mindfulness, yoga, and self-compassion. In this workshop, Jonathan Weber will guide you into a deeper connection with presence—blending gentle therapeutic yoga, guided mindfulness meditations, and practical exercises in self-kindness.
Mindful Yoga invites us to slow down, listen inwardly, and meet ourselves with openness. Through simple, accessible postures, you’ll experience yoga as mindfulness in motion—supporting awareness of body, breath, and emotions in a compassionate way.
We will also explore mindfulness as a way of being: cultivating presence in stillness, developing resilience, and softening self-criticism through self-compassion practices.
Together, these three elements—mindfulness, yoga, and compassion—create a holistic path for calming the nervous system, reducing stress, and nurturing both body and heart.
Jonathan brings over 30 years of experience in yoga and Buddhist mindfulness, including training in MBSR/MBCT and therapeutic
Mindful Yoga.
A pioneer in integrating mindfulness with yoga, he developed the Mindful Yoga Training at Oslo Yoga in 2018. His teaching style is warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive—making this workshop suitable for everyone, whether you’re completely new to the practice or an experienced student looking to deepen your journey.
This day also offers a taste of Jonathan’s broader Mindful Yoga trainings, where mindfulness, yoga, and compassion are explored in depth through a complete path of practice.

About Jonathan Weber
Jonathan Weber is an international mindfulness and yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience. He is known for his warm, compassionate teaching style and his ability to weave together ancient wisdom and modern therapeutic approaches.
Originally from the U.S. and now based in Norway, Jonathan has studied Buddhist mindfulness and compassion practices for decades, including extensive training in MBSR/MBCT and Therapeutic Mindful Yoga. In 2018, he developed the first Mindful Yoga Training at Oslo Yoga, pioneering the integration of mindfulness and yoga in Norway. He has also taught as a senior mindfulness teacher at Oslo Yoga, and co-led Norway’s first Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training.
Jonathan specializes in Mindful Yoga, mindfulness meditation, and compassion-based practices. His teachings are gentle, accessible, and deeply supportive—helping people manage stress, find resilience, and connect more fully with themselves. He regularly leads trainings, retreats, and workshops in Norway and abroad, guiding students on a holistic path to presence, healing, and awakening.
