Ambient & Tea combines the tranquility of traditional tea ceremonies with the depth of electronic music, offering sensory space to experience 茶道 Chádào (The Way of Tea) while immersing yourself in electronic music:
Enjoy the ritual and the aesthetics of the tea ceremony and let yourself drift into the atmospheric and experimental sounds of Jessica Kert (DE) performing a quadrophonic live concert on her Buchla 200e system.
Electronic music and the Chinese tea ceremony 工夫茶 Gōngfūchá (Time to Tea) share a common aesthetic: Both require presence, patience, and an openness to the unexpected.

Ambient & Tea is hosted (and created) by Dalin Waldo and began as a monthly event in 2018 at Kulturhuset Støberiet in Copenhagen. Since then, Ambient & Tea has evolved into an independent concept, appearing both in Denmark and internationally - at private gatherings and public events.
🐲ABOUT JESSICA KERT
Jessica Kert is a regular part of the legendary Berlin synthesizer shop Schneidersladen (by day), and a modular techno figure in the city’s underground scene (by night). For this special occasion, she brings a Buchla 200e system and unfolds a transcendent, quadraphonic universe of ambient sequences around the audience.
