On September 21st we're turning the Rört courtyard into a cozy market and upcycling café. Browse preloved items from other swappers, give your pieces new life at our repair & upcycling station, treat yourself to some fresh savory waffles and homemade cake, sip on yummy coffee, or just hang out in the yard to some nice tunes and (hopefully) sunshine!
♻️🔥 Swap It Like It’s Hot
Do you have clothes hanging lonely in your closet? Bring them along and give them a second life! Help us recirculate garments, reduce waste, and support people in need. We will be collecting your items the week leading up to the shop, gather them, and set them up on Sunday. At the shop you will be able to browse all the items that have been collected throughout the week. There will also be an upcycling and repairing station where you will be taught how to give new life to your favorite pieces. After the shop has ended, leftover clothes will be donated to GraceKBH and Morgencafé For Hjemløse.
👕👗 How it works:
1) Drop your items off at Rört (Thoravej 35) in week 38 (15/9-19/9) between 9:00-17:00.
2) For each item you will receive a ticket to be used at the shop on Sunday.
3) Come to the shop on 21/9 and exchange your tickets for “new-to-you” treasures.
4) Swing by our upcycling and repair station. Learn how to fix you favorite pieces or get inspired to repurpose old garments.
