💫 Handpan – a unique and magical modern instrument
The handpan is a modern instrument that has been gaining rapid popularity in spiritual circles and communities around the world.
It is one of the few instruments in the world anyone can play without any musical background.
This is because each handpan is handcrafted with notes that are precisely chosen to sound good together, based on a specific harmonic (musical) scale.
This means you cannot play a “wrong” note or out of tune – almost any combination of notes sounds pleasant, melodic, and beautiful.
The handpan is an instrument that can naturally induce states of centering, contemplation profound inner peace and harmony – making it an effective and popular choice in sound healing, artistic and creative works, and other spiritual practices.
🌟 An instrument that facilitates the awakening of the Soul
Because of its precise design and tuning, playing the handpan feels natural, simple and intuitive. It is not necessary to spend years learning & practicing complex techniques to sound good. The handpan eliminates the barrier of complexity in music – allowing even total beginners to enter the path of music as a genuine spiritual practice.
Because we don’t need to learn complex techniques to sound good, we can focus entirely on the spiritual aspects of music – such as beauty, rhythm, harmony and tone.
We can more easily bring our awareness into the present moment, centered in a state of profound inner peace.
Practice becomes a deep contemplation of beauty, rhythm and harmony in musical form – a practice that facilitates the gradual awakening of the Soul.
⚡️ Learn from guest teacher & owner of Copenhagen Handpan School – Koné Moerman
