Join us for an evening of great food, exceptional whisky, and good company.
On Tuesday, April 28 at 7pm, we’ll be hosting a very special Whisky & Dinner Pairing with Dan Vienneau, featuring a thoughtfully crafted three-course dinner developed by our Chef, Mike Cook.
This guided tasting will feature a three-course dinner, with each course thoughtfully paired with a whisky selected to highlight and compliment the flavours of each dish.
Whether you're a long-time whisky lover or simply curious to learn more, this will be a relaxed and welcoming evening designed to explore how good food and great whisky come together.
About Dan:
Dan is a 20yr veteran of the Atlantic hospitality industry, much of that time spent as the GM of Hopscotch Whisky Bar, in Saint John. He has travelled to Scotland, Kentucky, and Jamaica to experience distillation firsthand and has met some of the best distillers in the world. He has hosted countless whisky and spirit tastings over the years, and has garnered a reputation for being passionate and knowledgeable. His events are informative, and entertaining without an ounce of pretension or snobbery.
About Mike:
Mike began his culinary career in 2018 cooking on the “Ice Roads” in the Northwest Territories, where he spent five years working his way up to Chef Manager at Lockhart Lake Camp, home to THE busiest truck stop in North America.
After returning home to Fredericton in 2023, Mike joined Delta Hotels by Marriott Fredericton, where he served as Chef de Partie and Jr. Sous Chef, and earned Rookie of the Year before winning the regional Masters of the Craft competition.
Mike joined The Rogue earlier this year and we couldn't be more excited and proud to have him.
