Join a Small Group for a course working on strong foundations for Kayak techniques and Rolling Foundations.
It is good to be comfortable in the water.
Students will take turns observing and practicing techniques.
We Will Cover:
Paddle Strokes as Applied to Rolling'
Proper Wet Exits
T-Rescue as a Basis for Rolling
C to C vs Sweep (Brief Overview)
Positioning of the Head
Proper Mechanics for Reducing Injury Risk
Hip Snap with Rotation to Initiate a Roll
At the end of the Series:
This is a Progressive Class, missing any part of it will affect your ability to effectively progress so please give a buffer and time to get arrive on Time.
After the series, you may choose to participate in invite only (Alumni) Open Pool Times, Semi-Private or Private 1, 1.5 Hr, or 2 Hr Lessons, or another Series to continue your progression. We have multiple options so that you can engage at your personal pace. In the Spring and Summer we will offer river trips and skills progressions for alumni only.
