What a night! The man himself from the Sunnyvale Trailer Park - Bubbles - took action with Crued Oil when he not only refused to grant them their rematch but forced them to compete against “Rugged” Rick Owens and… the Green Bastard! Not only did the former tag team champions ended up on the losing end of the stick but they also didn’t get their long-desired rematch. What’s next for the record-holders?
Speaking of the champs, Ace Dynasty were able to secure a successful title defence over Logan Green and his new partner… Kayden!? That’s right - it looks like the Big Bad LG has managed to convince another likeminded star to join in an attempt to win back the titles that he once held with Kerry Killem.
Meanwhile, Killem was successful in his River Valley title defense in a triple threat match… with the help of Walt Wonderful! Will we see more of these underhanded victories thanks to this newfound manager/collaborator of sorts?
Another big victory was obtained by “Horsepower” Hunter Sampson, who was able to finally defeat Zane Valentine and end the whole “pee test” drama. After Valentine received a taste of his own medicine (…literally), Sampson scored the three count and some vindication. What’s next for Sampson’s career? And how will Valentine recover from the embarrassment?
Of course, the talk of the night was Larry Horowitz losing his NBWA Heavyweight Championship to Nick Strong! Proving himself not only to be the strongest man in the Maritimes but also a challenger who will stop at nothing to win, Strong captured the championship and became the first-ever CCW Grand Slam Champion having now captured the Heavyweight, River Valley and Tag Titles. But what about the ending of the match? Tanya went down hard! Is she okay? Will we see Tanya again? Perhaps we will receive some kind of update on her condition soon!
