Glass Fused Suncatcher Workshop & Franklin Fire Dept Fundraiser

Support the Franklin Fire Dept and create your own beautiful glass art! In this hands-on Glass Fused Suncatcher Workshop!
Each participant will design a 2 ¾" x 5 ¾" suncatcher with a hook embedded in the glass for hanging. Perfect for beginners and fun for all ages—no experience is necessary.
✨ What You’ll Learn & Use:
How to cut and shape glass
How to work with glass stringers (straight and handmade wavy/curly stringers from our studio)
Designing with our huge variety of glass powders and frits
Adding handmade glass lace, murrini, and glass dots for texture and detail
Layering glass to create a one-of-a-kind fused glass suncatcher.
Once class is complete, we’ll take your project back to our studio to fire in the kiln. Finished suncatchers will be ready in about 3 weeks, and pickup will be arranged locally in Franklin.
We’ll email participants as soon as their pieces are ready. This fundraiser is a wonderful way to support the Franklin Fire Dept while making a piece of art you’ll treasure. Bring a friend and join us for a creative evening!
