TEMPS: Day 60’s, Night 50’s
ATTIRE: Rain coat, 2 pairs of shoes in case one gets wet, warm jacket, plenty of layers.
WHAT TO BRING: Sleeping Bag, camp pad or air mattress (no bigger than twin), extra blanket, pillow, flashlight, daypack, towel, toiletries, camera, Bible.
Optional things: Hiking poles, Camp chair, Bug spray.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Pets or alcohol/tobacco/vape!
TENT INFO: You may bring your own tent if you wish or you may have a tent-mate!
BATHROOMS: Showers and running water. WOOHOO!!!
AGENDA: Hiking to remarkable scenery, and to unknown remote waterfalls and scenic mountain vistas each day, facilitated connecting, campfire worship music, roasting marshmallows, challenging devotional, and much relaxation and hanging out.

ONCE IN CAMPGROUND: Follow signs to Kimsey Creek Group sites A, B & C
CARPOOLING: We will send out an email to everyone on the roster 10 days before we leave so you can secure carpooling. Most people just leave cars at people’s houses. You will have to drive through a creek to get to the campsite, but it is only 6 inches deep.
TRAVEL TIME: Approx 2.5 hours
KEEP IN MIND: that there are always dangerous elements when out in nature: Cliffs, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, icy, rocky and have steep embankments. Shoes may get muddy or wet. Many times the woods are your only bathroom.
