please consider joining Rotary as we set up the Main Street Christmas tree project.
We will be tying the trees up, adding lights and connecting them to timers and extension cords.
It’s a nice way to meet some of your neighbors, learn about Rotary if you’d like, and get outside for a festive activity. If you are interested, please meet us at Open Doors Methodist Church, corner of Main and Water Streets, on Saturday, December 6th, 9:45am. We will hold a brief how-to before spreading out along Main Street. Even if you only have half an hour to spend, we’d love to have you join us. School and community groups welcome.
Tree installation details:
• Purchased in bulk, installed by Rotary and volunteers on December 6, 2025
• Trees lit by December 8, 2025
• Lights will remain on until January 10, 2026, on a timer (4 PM–midnight & 6–8 AM daily)
• Trees and lights will be removed by Rotary and volunteers on January 10, 2026.

All donations beyond the cost of trees will support Rotary Youth Exchange and Youth Leadership programs.
ANY amount, great or small, is appreciated and will help fund our youth programs. While we only light up Main Street, we welcome donations from EVERYONE on EVERY street, in Franklin or outside town limits who enjoy the holiday cheer of driving through Franklin during December and/or supporting youth.
