Pottery Class: Plates

Students will throw plates of all sizes depending on their skill level. Techniques will include throwing platters, using a mold on the wheel, and the art of trimming the underside of the plate to create a foot ring.

Level: Beginner to intermediate

Week 1: Wheel throwing
Week 2: Wheel throwing
Week 3: Hand Building
Week 4: Glaze application
