The Frankfort Community Public Library is thrilled to host “Of Thee I Sing,” a special musical event brought to you by the Frankfort Lions Club in collaboration with the DAR, Daughters for the American Revolution, Frankfort Optimist Club, Psi Iota Xi, Rotary Club of Frankfort, VFW Post 1110, and Zonta Club of Frankfort. This engaging program features talented mezzo-soprano artist Audrey Johnson and kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Library’s Skanta Theatre. The performance offers a unique way to celebrate Constitution Day, learn more about U.S. history, and enjoy an entertaining evening.
Johnson is the visionary artist behind Of Thee I Sing: American Heritage Through Song, an innovative performance company dedicated to delivering educational and interactive historical music programming. A classically-trained opera singer with a passion for American vocal works, her performances also include captivating costume changes that bring journeys through history to life.
