Join PSPL for a performance by the Dorian Invasion Trio! Comprised of Michelle Hudson (cello), Dr. Mary Elizabeth Henton (violin), and Nancy Campbell (viola), the trio will share classical and holiday music, perfect for the season.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience the LexPhil MusicLab. Formerly the Instrument Petting Zoo, the MusicLab is a portable studio that combines electronic and acoustic instruments and other technology for a fun, hands-on experience that provides an opportunity for participants of all ages and abilities to make music while simultaneously learning about the science of sound and electricity.

Michelle A. Hudson is the orchestra and guitar director at Jessie Clark Middle School in Lexington, Kentucky, and KMEA Orchestra State Chair. She started her career in Florida and is in her 19th year of teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance and Master of Music Education both from Florida State University. In 2021, she was honored to be awarded KMEA Middle School Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Mary Elizabeth Henton is an experienced music educator, conductor, and researcher dedicated to advancing youth orchestra education in Central Kentucky and beyond. She currently serves as the co-conductor of the Bravo Strings Orchestra with the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras (CKYO) and as the Learning & Partnership Program Manager with the Lexington Philharmonic, where she leads educational outreach and community engagement initiatives. Dr. Henton spent 12 years teaching in K–12 public schools as a 4th–12th grade orchestra director and is a violinist who performs with the Lexington Chamber Orchestra.
Nancy Campbell is a respected educator, conductor and author. As a violist, she often performs in the region and is co-founder of Lexington’s Original Viola Ensemble. Having recently retired as the Orchestra Director at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Lexington, she currently serves as conductor of the Central Kentucky Youth Repertory and Bravo String Orchestras.
