Homeschool Class
Time: 10-11am
When: Each session includes 4 classes beginning on the first Wednesday of the month.
Ages: 7-17 and parents (Classes are individualized for each student & level)
Kids classes are a way to explore clay while expanding creativity, gaining problem solving skills and building clay techniques. As students continue to attend classes they will build skills, and can eventually become independent artist.
Parents may take the class with their child, but must purchase a spot and add your name to the notes as the parent. Due to limited space, we do not allow younger siblings or parents, who are not purchasing the class, to stay in the studio during class time. You are welcome to explore the green space downtown, visit our local shops, get a treat from the local restaurants or visit our library.
Each month will follow this pattern:
Day 1: Throwing on the Wheel
Day 2: Throwing on the Wheel
Day 3 Handbuilding
Day 4 Glazing
Your projects will take 3 weeks to be completed, and you will receive a text or phone call when your projects are finished firing. We hold projects for 1 month and then they disappear from the store.
