Frankford-area veterans and their families are invited to join us for a special worship service honoring the many men and women of our community who have answered our nation's call to serve in the armed forces.
This special church service is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Frankford First Christian Church. We are pleased to share that we are welcoming back Chaplain Mike Williams, Maj., USAF (Ret.), as our guest speaker.
The service will also include special recognition for the veterans who are present and those Frankford-area veterans who have are deceased. The congregation will present a special token of our appreciation to the military veterans who are present.
Immediately following the worship service will be a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
Once again, all Frankford-area veterans and their families are invited to join us for this special worship service and luncheon as we strive to honor Frankford’s many sons and daughters who have answered our nation’s call to serve in the armed forces.
If you are unable to join us in person for this special worship service, you can watch the livestream of the worship service online through our church’s Facebook page: FrankfordFirstChristian. The livestream video feed will begin at approximately 10 a.m.
While RSVPs are not required for Veterans Sunday, they are
encouraged so that the planning committee can ensure enough food for the meal. You can RSVP by calling the Frankford First Christian Church office and leaving a message on the answering machine. The office phone number is: 573-314-4435. A member of the Veterans Sunday Planning Committee will return your call to confirm your reservation.
