Really, fall is for planting? You bet it is! This catchy marketing phrase was created for a reason, and this presentation was created to fully explain why. Join professional horticulturist Gregg Tepper as he delves into the do’s and the don’ts of Fall planting. Learn about the plants that benefit from this timing, as well as those that do not, along with effective planting tips that will prepare you for success and bring you the well-earned rewards of a glorious spring garden.
Gregg is the Senior Horticulturist at the Arboretum at Laurel Hill in Philadelphia, PA, comprised of two historic cemetery properties totaling 265 acres, where he co-manages the horticulture interns and staff. Gregg has lectured extensively in the United States as well as the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and Wisley in Great Britain. He is co-author of the popular book “Deer-Resistant Native Plants for the Northeast.”
Participants receive 20% on any plants purchased the day of the class.
