The Nutcracker: Clara’s Dream

Metrowest Dance Academy students and guest artist, Alexis Taborda will perform Tge Nutcracker Clara’s Dream at Wellesley High School on Saturday Dec13th at 1&6pm

Our interpretation of this classic ballet begins with Clara sneaking into the drawing room late at night to collect her nutcracker. She falls into a restless sleep in the shadows of the Christmas Tree. She awakes to a ferocious battle between Toy Soldiers and Mice and then is safely led, by the Nutcracker Prince, into a Land of Snow. A host of Angels heralds Clara into the Land is Sweets where she meets the Sugar Plum Fairy and experiences the magic of this festive story.
