For this month's Boozy Book Club, we are using the Boyden Public Library's pick: The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. "The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali is a captivating novel that explores the intertwined lives of two childhood friends, Elaheh (Ellie) and Homa, against the backdrop of revolutionary Tehran. The story spans several decades, from the 1950s through the 1979 Iranian Revolution, highlighting themes of friendship, political struggle, and personal redemption."
