15th and FINAL "Run the Res" 5k: Jeff Shiff Memorial

Susie Shiff, along with her family, invite you to the 15th Annual “Run the Res” in memory of her husband Jeff who lost his battle to colon cancer in 2008.

Jeff was an avid runner. His wife Susie and four adult children honor his memory with this event in which many of his friends and fellow runners participate. Over the years, the event has raised more than $68,500 for the ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Cancer Fund benefitting patients and families at the hospital’s Cancer and Infusion Center.

The course is on flat, paved roads around the scenic Fostoria reservoirs #2 and #3. Provided with registration is a race shirt as well as a goody bag compliments of our sponsors. Awards will be given to the Top Overall Male/Female runners, Top 3 each age group Male/Female 5K and all Kids Fun Run participants will receive a ribbon. Chip timing and online registration will again be offered this year.

The Kids Fun Run will begin at 10am, followed by the 5k at 11am.
