Screenprinting Basics: Guilt-Free Screen Time
Four Week Series | Mondays
Oct 20 - Nov 10 | 6:00 - 8:30 pm
Ready for a more rewarding type of screen time? We’ve got a brand new class for you, led by screenprinting expert, Adam Palmer! Dive into this hands-on intro where we’ll crack open the screenprinting toolbox and try three cool methods to create your designs. No prior experience required, just squeegees and a dash of curiosity.
Here’s what you’ll be exploring:
- Photo Emulsion: Witchcraft? Science? (Spoiler: it’s both.) Coat a screen with light-sensitive goo and watch your design appear like magic.
- Ink Filler: The "oops-proof" method—perfect for bold, graphic designs (and last-minute genius ideas).
- Stencil: The OG way to print. Cut it, stick it, squeegee it, and boom—instant art.
You’ll leave with a sampler of your new print skills, including a tote bag, shirt, and paper print—each made with a different method (aka your new portfolio) and the confidence to say "I know how that’s made" next time you spot a cool design!
