Buttermilk Junction at White Settlement Historical Museum for National Play Music on the Porch Day

☞Buttermilk Junction Old-Time String Band™ will play at the White Settlement Historical Museum in White Settlement, Texas on the morning of "National Play Music on the Porch Day," August 30, 2025, for two hours only beginning at 10:00 AM & ending at High Noon.

☞We will be playing on the front porch of the historic 1864 William Terry Allen log Cabin on the museum grounds.

☞Note: "Play Music on the Porch Day" is actually an "International" or "World" event, rather than merely a "National" Day.

☞Play Music on the Porch Day, which was founded in Los Angeles, California in 2013, is now celebrated world-wide in over 70 countries & many cities, where people go outside to play music on their porches or other places to celebrate music as a universal way to connect people & to promote peace. The event started as an idea to have a day where everything stops & music is listened to globally, & participants are encouraged to share their performances on social media using the hashtag #playmusicontheporchday. This day has grown to include over 1,100 cities around the world & is recognized as an international celebration rather than just a national one.
