This is a holiday weekend event. You have the option to camp one night or more depending on your schedule.
We want to plan on group meals and coordinate who brings what for breakfast and dinner. PLEASE RSVP if you will be going so we can coordinate this as well.
Primitive sites are occupied on a first come, first served basis there are no reservations. Check in begins at 8am so we plan on meeting up well beforehand to be able to line up together and get some spots. Check-out Times: All passes expire at sunset on your last day. Reminder: Campers entering the park before 8:00 a.m. will be charged for the previous night’s camping.
Camping Rules via Website:
• All campers must be 18 years old to camp without being accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Proof of legal guardianship required. We check ID!
• Camping prices are per person per night. Summer rates are now in effect.
• Prices may be higher on major holidays/holiday weekends.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Sales tax not included in above prices.
• Camping fees include daily admission into the park.
• Scuba diving fees are additional.
• No pets.
• Campsites must be clean and orderly at all times.
• Lanterns should be hung from ropes suspended between trees.
• Lanterns should not attach directly to trees, heat from lanterns will K*ll our trees.
• No chainsaws allowed.
• Do not cut or nail anything to trees or vegetation.
• No camping on the grassy areas surrounding Ginnie Spring or the Devil’s Springs systems.
• Quiet hours are from 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
• No excessive noise is permitted at any time.
• All other regular park rules apply.
Prices (Please ask for Military Discount I am not sure what the discount is, but there is one)
• Adults "Off-Season" Rate$25.00
• Adult "Season" Rate$30.00
• Children Ages 5-12 $8.00
• Children Ages 4 & Under Free
• Electric and Water Site Fee (standard) $11.00
Things to bring:
• Tent and all your camping gear
• Swimming attire
• Water shoes to protect your feet
• Sunscreen
• Float recommend getting a high quality one especially if you plan on floating in the future. They also have rentals on site if you don’t want to purchase one.
• Air pump. There is also air filling stations if you do not have your own air pump.
• Life Jacket recommended especially for children.
• Snorkel Masks Fins if you want to snorkel they also have rentals onsite.
• Cooler for your drinks and snacks
• Cooler float. A float specifically for your cooler.
• Dry Bags if you plan on bringing any personal belongings that you don’t want to get wet
• Rope or tethers to keep floats together so we can all float at the same time together.
Safety: If you plan on drinking alcoholic beverages please drink responsibly and in a safe manner. If you are floating plan on being in the water at least 3-6 hours so stay hydrated and alert. If it looks unsafe or can get you hurt do not do it. Do not bring any illegal drugs to this event. Do not drink and drive.
