Join us for our annual IW Florida Ginnie Springs Silkies Float over Father’s Day Weekend 2026! This is a multi-day, family-friendly, camping and floating experience with your IW family from across the state.
🪖 We will be staying in the VERY SECLUDED and VERY SAFE electrical site camp section, which will be reserved by McPherson as soon as sites open!

Thursday, June 18 – Monday, June 22, 2026
Friday, June 19 is a Federal Holiday
Sunday, June 21 is Father’s Day – bring the whole family for a chill float and BBQ!
Choose your own adventure: 1-night campout or full weekend
Group meals for breakfast & dinner — RSVP to coordinate who brings what!
🏕️ Camping Details
Check-in starts at 8:00 AM daily – arrive early to line up together
Primitive sites are first-come, first-served
Quiet hours are from 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
No camping near Ginnie or Devil's Springs system
Military discount available – ask at check-in!
💲 Estimated Camping Fees (Per Person / Per Night):
Adults: $25–$30
Kids (5–12): $8
Kids (4 & under): Free
Electric/Water Site Fee (Standard): $11 extra
Prices subject to change; higher on holiday weekends

🧳 What to Bring
Tent, gear, and sleeping supplies
Swimsuit, water shoes, sunscreen
Quality float (or rent onsite) + air pump
Life jacket (highly recommended)
Cooler & cooler float for drinks/snacks
Dry bags, ropes/tethers for group floating
Snorkel/fins (optional, rentals available)
Group meal item – we’ll coordinate!
