After amassing more than 20 #1 Smooth Jazz hits, producing hits for fellow genre greats, and recording three lauded albums as part of the all-star trio BWB, Rick Braun continues to prove that he’s in full creative overdrive, and from his perspective, just getting started. This versatile trumpeter and flugelhornist boldly bucks tradition with his stylistically eclectic, ultra-soulful, funky, exotica-tinged sound that he’s honed over a multi-decade career. More than 30 years since Intimate Secrets launched him to contemporary jazz stardom, Braun remains one of the genre’s most influential artists and producers.

He's joined on stage by two-time GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist and vocalist Mindi Abair. Abair has built a substantial following among jazz and blues audiences with her roaring melodies and powerhouse style. You might recognize her as a featured saxophonist on American Idol, The Late Show with David Letterman, or The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She’s also toured with the likes of Duran Duran and Aerosmith. As a solo artist, she has consistently topped the Billboard Contemporary Jazz and Blues charts, taking home 8 Independent Blues Awards, including Artist of the Year.
