We are pleased to announce that our Area Conference Hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held next month on September 20th and 21st. This is a wonderful time to gather in faith, to increase in holiness, to be strengthened, to have our understanding enlarged, and to be inspired to rise up together (D&C 82:14). We invite you to attend the scheduled sessions and to extend an invitation to a friend, neighbor, or family member to attend with you to strengthen their faith in Christ. As you come prepared, you will increase your faith in Jesus Christ and learn how to better become like Him. Our conference sessions will be held as follows:
All sessions will be held at the Stake Center (5401 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne).
Saturday, September 20th
· 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Adult Session for everyone over the age of 18.
Sunday, September 21st
· 10:00am to 12:00pm, General Session
For the Sunday 10:00am session, we encourage you to arrive and reverently find seats at 9:30am and be seated no later than 9:50am. Take this opportunity to be still, listen to the prelude music, and invite a spirit of reverence. Also, prepare yourself to hear the messages the Lord would have you hear from those that have been asked to bring His message.
For the Sunday session, a Spanish translation will be available in a designated area of the chapel. Reserved seating for the General Session will be available for those with special needs, including sign language. Ushers will seat all others as they arrive. We discourage the practice of saving seats. We strongly encourage you to arrive early and reverently enjoy the prelude music as you prepare to learn and then act in faith.
We look forward to worshipping together with you and unitedly strengthening our faith in Jesus Christ at this Area Conference.
