The Gallery at First Presbyterian Church Presents: A Moment in Time, An Art Exhibit Featuring the Stories and Images of Our Unhoused Neighbors
Join us for A Moment in Time, a powerful and thought-provoking exhibit at The Gallery at First Presbyterian Church. This unique collection features portraits and personal stories of local residents who have experienced homelessness, by capturing a single, meaningful moment in their lives.
Too often, people without housing are seen as invisible or “other”, often passed by, overlooked, or misunderstood. This exhibit invites you to see beyond the stereotypes and recognize the humanity, individuality, and depth of experience within each person.
Through photography and narrative, A Moment in Time challenges perceptions and encourages deeper connection. It serves as a reminder that every person, regardless of housing status, has a story worth hearing and that recovery, resilience, and contribution to community are not only possible, but can be very powerful.
Come and witness the strength, dignity, and rich inner lives of our unhoused neighbors. This exhibit will inspire empathy, spark dialogue, and break down the barriers. Curated by Marsi Lawson.
