In this session, Helene Prokop from the Transkribus team will guide you through the platform’s key features, including how to upload documents, apply AI models for automatic transcription, and train custom models tailored to your specific needs. You’ll learn practical tips to streamline your research process and make your historical documents more accessible and searchable.

Helene Prokop is the Communications Team Lead at Transkribus. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Management and a Master's degree in Contemporary History and Media, and has attended courses in Ancient History, Linguistics, and Korean Studies. Since joining Transkribus in 2023, Helene has been able to combine her academic background and passion for history with a mission to make historical texts more accessible.
