Ribbon Cutting: Emerald Coast Period Pantry

What's a period pantry?
A period pantry is a box, locker, or cabinet with free period products. Anyone is free to take or leave menstrual products in the pantry.

The Fort Walton Beach Library is now home to a beautiful period pantry, built and designed by Victoria Low, of Collana Jewelry, through a partnership with Emerald Coast Period Pantry! The pantry (which is similar in design to a little free library, but providing menstruation products instead of books) will live on the exterior wall near the front doors, so it will be accessible to people even when we are closed.

Please join us and meet the volunteers and sponsors involved in this initiative. Learn more about what we're trying to do, how you can help, and maybe even a round of menstruation trivia!

And we'd love it if you could bring a period product to add to our new pantry.
