The Joy Run is one of the Chamber’s most cherished traditions—a chance to bring holiday cheer to every resident of our local nursing home and to Meals on Wheels participants.
* Silent Auction (Dec. 1–12) *
Bid on donated items and services. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Joy Run fund.
* Volunteers in Action *
Community members shop, wrap, and deliver gifts with care.
* Gifts That Matter *
Cozy blankets, robes, pajamas, slippers, stuffed animals, and more.
* Facility Enhancements *
When funds allow, we also provide items that benefit all residents—past donations have included a projector and screen, audio system, outdoor seating, and essential supplies.
* The Big Delivery *
Volunteers from all around the community will join Santa at the nursing home at 6 pm on December 19 to hand out gifts, sing carols, and share joy with residents. Meals on Wheels ensures gifts reach participants at home. It’s a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.
