Weaving 101

Weaving 101 with Sally Brandon.

Students choose fiber & color.

Using Rigid Heddle looms, students will create a cotton table runner or an alpaca scarf. Looms will be pre-warped and ready to weave. Students will gain a basic understanding of weaving including: maintaining consistent selvedges, splicing, changing color, and finishing.

Design Options will be discussed as in plaid, clasped weft and determining stripe widths. 4 hours. 4-6 students max.
$60/ cotton table runner.
$75/ alpaca scarf
