Retiree Appreciation Day

Fort Riley and the 1st Infantry Division invite military retirees of all services. Spouses, widows or widowers are welcome.

Registration begins at 8:00 and program will begin at 9:0.

Throughout the day, guests will get the latest information on TRICARE, Medicare, hospital services and other health care issues, veterans' afairs, legislative issues, casualty affairs, long term care insurance and many other topics of concern to military retirees.

Veterans organizations will also be onsite to provide information.

The public-health team from Irwin Army Community Hospital will provide vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for influenza, shingles, pneumonia, and tetanus.

Garrison Commander, COL Jerry Nunziato will provide opening remarks.
