Growing Vegetables Workshop

Join us for a free workshop led by Dr. Sara MacDonald, the Urban Horticulture Agent for UF/IFAS Extension in St. Lucie County. Dr. MacDonald, who is new to our Extension team, brings extensive knowledge in horticulture, with a specialization in entomology.

If you're new to gardening and interested in growing your own vegetables but don’t know where to start, this workshop is for you! Join Dr. MacDonald on September 6th at the Kilmer Branch Library. Participants will learn how to prepare soil, which vegetables to plant in each season, how to maintain their gardens, and how to identify pests and weeds, among other essential gardening tips.
