Join us for another exciting National Play Outside Day event!
These events are held on the first Saturday of every month at various locations in and around Chattanooga to help promote outdoor play for children and their families.
We'll have water squirters available for the kids to play with if they want to cool off and enjoy some energetic outdoor fun.
Location: The Wilder Brigade Tower Monument at the Chickamauga Battlefield (Please note there is no address for the tower. The address for the battlefield visitors center is 3370 Lafayette Rd, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742)

Requirements: ALL attendees MUST have a 2025 waiver on file. Forms for minors are to be completed by a legal guardian.

We will meet next to the Wilder Brigade Tower Monument located within the Chickamauga Battlefield Park. There is parking along the road in front of the tower as well as a parking lot at the foot of the hill below the tower. From Roy Parrish Jr Pkwy turn onto N Long Hollow Rd, then turn left onto Lytle Rd, then turn right onto Vista Dr. To access the parking lot, turn right onto Vittetoe Chickamauga Rd then left onto Glenn Viniard Rd
Please make sure everyone in your group is dressed in weather appropriate clothing. Kids should wear clothes that are okay to get dirty, wet, or otherwise messed up and consider bringing a spare set for afterward. We also recommend bringing water and some snacks.
All guardians must remain with and are responsible for their own children at all times. By attending this event, you accept all possible risks for yourself and children and acknowledge that facilitators and other members are not liable for any damages including but not limited to injuries, illnesses, lost or damaged property, etc.
