In celebration of International Sake Day (October 1), we’re raising a glass early with a one-of-a-kind dinner at Silver King Ocean Brasserie that explores the nuance, versatility, and culture of Japanese sake. This unique evening pairs several premium sake selections with an inspired menu by Chef Zachary Geerson, marking a bold and refreshing twist on our classic pairing dinners.
The evening will highlight a playful dance between Mediterranean and Japanese influences, coming together to excite and surprise through thoughtful, seasonal cuisine and carefully selected sake. Chef Zach’s approach showcases the elegance and complexity of sake in a new light—revealing its beauty and pairing potential far beyond traditional Japanese settings.
Expect pristine seafood, delicate chawanmushi, elevated rice and pickle preparations, and a finale that may just include miso-caramel ice cream. Each dish is designed to enhance the flavor profile of its sake counterpart, offering a dining experience that’s refined, unexpected, and deeply satisfying.
