McGregor’s Public House proudly presents our very first PubtoberFest Weekend—a three–day celebration of pints, plates, music, and a hearty mash-up of Irish cheer and German festivity. This is the beginning of something bold, a little Bavarian, a little Irish, and entirely McGregor’s. Lace up your running shoes, dust off the lederhosen, and join us as we start a tradition worth toasting!

Friday, October 3rd – Belltober Pub Crawl (6–9p)

We’re kicking things off with a Bell Tower-wide Pub Crawl! This ticketed event is $30 and includes a progressive tasting adventure across six participating restaurants:

McGregor’s (that’s us!)
Grimaldi’s
Burntwood Tavern
La Ola
Dave & Buster’s
Drooling Dog Bakery

Your ticket gets you:

Saturday, October 4th
PubtoberFest Beer Mile & TBBC Tap Takeover

Saturday is wall-to-wall action, so fuel up and pace yourself.

We kick off bright and early at 8:30a with our first-ever PubtoberFest Beer Mile, hosted alongside our friends at Apex Promotions and Tampa Bay Brewing Company. The format’s simple (if not a wee bit mad): drink 4 beers, run 1 mile—one beer before each quarter lap. Go it alone or team up for a 4-person relay. Registration includes your beers, bib, and a limited-edition challenge coin. Each lap is powered by TBBC’s crisp Slack Tide Lager.

To keep the energy up, Cage O’Hanlon will be on site with live music and cheeky runner heckling starting at 10a.

But that’s only the warm-up…

As the day rolls on, Tampa Bay Brewing is taking over our taps! Get ready for raffles, giveaways, stein-hoisting competitions, and brewery reps in-house with swag and prizes. Best of all, we’ll be pouring rare TBBC brews that rarely leave their Ybor taproom, including:

- Gam Gam’s Dirty Little Dunkel
- In All Ze World German Pilsner
- Oktoberfest Lager

Of course, it wouldn’t be PubtoberFest without football and music to keep the craic alive:

Sunday, October 5th – Pub Olympics (12–3p)
Think you’ve got the brawn, brains, and beer skills to be crowned Pub Champion?

Compete in five rounds of challenges:

- Trivia
- Flip Cup
- Beer Pong
- Pretzel Eating
- Stein Hoisting

👥 Teams of 2: $25 per team, includes one beer each to kick off the games.
🏆 Winners walk away with McGregor’s gift cards, pub swag, and other themed prizes.

And because no Sunday’s complete without great music, we’re wrapping up the weekend with Taylor Tones live from 4–7p.

From the Bell Tower Pub Crawl to Saturday’s all-day madness to the Pub Olympics, PubtoberFest is where Irish craic meets German fest. Three days, countless pints, and memories made in true McGregor’s fashion.
